The University of Alicante ranks among the best universities in the world for international students
The main database of universities and higher education institutions in the world, Study Abroad Aide (SAA), has published this week the World Best Value Universities Rankings 2024, a classification of the best universities for international students in which it has placed the University of Alicante in the 17% of the best universities in the world, with the 1% being the highest valuation headed by the University of Oxford (The percentage of 100% qualifies to the last positions).
The ranking has qualified 8060 public and private universities from 69 countries, in which the UA has obtained 17% with the 1,360th position. This recognition highlights that the University of Alicante stands out worldwide for offering a great combination of high-quality education and affordability.
The study takes into account various parameters that value academic reputation and affordability and has among its objectives “to encourage the mobility of international students by offering them affordable options abroad without compromising the quality of their education”.
The Vice-Rector for International Relations and Development Cooperation of the UA, Rosa Mª Martínez, said that “for the UA this ranking is great news, as it places us among the best universities in the world for international students and confirms that we are on the right track in our internationalization strategies”.
