This central square, popularly known as “The Hermitage”, will have an outdoor installation that allows the safe practice of games and sports in general, guaranteeing its functional and urban integration in this public space very crowded by local young people.
The present contract consists of the execution of a sports court on a land destined by the planning to be a space of public domain and use with the aim of improving municipal sports infrastructures, especially in some free areas that lack small facilities intended for games for minors.
The winning company commits in its offer to the extension within the guarantee period of the work of 30 months, as well as the decrease in the execution period of the work of 40 calendar days (so the 6-month period of the supporting report is subtracted 40 calendar days)
DESCRIPTION OF THE SPORTS COURT:
The area affected by the project is located on the Plaza de Oriente in Torrevieja, in which there is a parking lot in the basement, in such a way that there is currently a garden on the basement floor with approximately one meter of topsoil with lawn planting and various trees, such as palm trees, olive trees, etc. That layer of topsoil is going to be eliminated and an elevated screed is going to be created to place the sports court. Therefore, this track is not supported on natural soil, but on a 50-centimeter edge slab.
Also, a concrete perimeter wall will be made to delimit the track, the raised screed will be placed until reaching the height of the square, with a finish of outdoor sports pavement in the play area, an artificial turf area, two benches, a trash bin, two goalposts, a street lamp with four luminaires and finally the entire sports area will be fenced. The dimensions of the runway will be 21 meters long and 7 meters wide.
