If you turn 18 or turn 18 in 2024, the European Union will pay you for an entire month of train travel across the continent. The DiscoverEU program has launched a campaign in which 35,000 young Europeans will be able to get a free train ticket to travel around Europe for 30 days.

Submission time

The competition is open until April 30, 12:00. Teenagers must answer the test correctly. Interrail train vouchers will be distributed to all winners.

To participate, young people must be born between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006 (both inclusive) and fill out the promotion form, indicating the number of the identity document, passport or residence card on the website https://youth.europa.eu/discovereu/apply_es

Available countries and deadlines

They must be residents of one of the member States of the European Union, including Overseas Countries and Territories (PTU), or one of the third countries associated with the Erasmus+ program, such as Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey.

For people with disabilities, the European Union confirms that they will receive help and support to be able to participate in this action.

Holders of free tickets will be able to make a trip lasting from 1 to 30 days in the period from July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. They will also receive the DiscoverEU European Youth Card, which allows them to enjoy discounts on cultural events, sports, local transport, accommodation and meals during the trip.
