A new initiative of the Prado Museum
A new initiative by the management of the Prado Museum in Madrid provides students with the opportunity to delve into research activities and master the basics of art management.
As part of the program, students will be able to gain work experience as curators, museum managers and art historians.
Educational programs at the Prado Museum
Students of Spanish universities under the age of 30 can participate in the program. They will take courses that combine theory and practical training in unique cultural spaces. The training will take place in a hybrid format: online classes will be held from 3 to 6 June, and then, from 1 to 5 July, the practical part will begin, including excursions and presentation of practical work.
Applications for participation in the program can be submitted on the official website of the museum until May 15, attaching a resume.
Summer educational programs at the Prado Museum for children from 6 to 12 years old
In addition, the Prado Museum offers summer educational programs for children. From July 4 to July 30, special game classes will be held for children aged 6 to 12 years, which will introduce them to the work of the museum and its collection. The cost of participation is 140 euros (classes will be held from 10:00 to 13:30). It will be possible to register a child on the same museum website starting from June 1.
