Civil Guard in response to the National Plan to Combat Drug Use in Recreational Places Arrested Four People at Torrevieja. They were part of a drug trafficking gang in premises registered as cannabis associations, which were located near recreational areas. The Court of Investigation No. 2 of Torrevieja ordered the release of all detainees with the introduction of precautionary measures.
A few months ago, the Civil Guard of Torrevieja, thanks to the cooperation of citizens and the work of researchers in the framework of the National Plan for Combating the Use of Drugs in Recreational Areas, became aware of the existence of two premises in the vicinity of recreational areas and with the movement of minors registered as cannabis associations and with abnormal behavior.

For clarification, the consumption of marijuana and its derivatives in cannabis clubs, which are private and closed premises, is under the legal protection of L.O. 1/2002 of March 22, which governs the right of association, as well as activities of illicit cultivation, manufacture or trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances or otherwise promoting, promoting or facilitating the illicit consumption of toxic drugs, as well as such as possession and consumption on the roads public use is completely prohibited.
After investigating the agents, it was possible to verify how, from the public road, the consumption of narcotic substances was observed inside, a fact that may promote or encourage the consumption of substances, and it was also possible to confirm, through two complaints filed by the Civil Guard, the illegal purchase of such drugs by customers substances like hashish, marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
On January 25 and 27, as soon as this information became known and with the appropriate judicial authorization, entrances and searches of the premises were carried out, as a result of which two men, one British and the other Spaniard, aged 24 and 28 respectively, were arrested. and two women, one Spanish, 30 years old, and the other Romanian, 35 years old.
In addition to the above, the investigators seized 1600 grams of marijuana, 590 grams of hashish, 24 joints prepared for sale, 20 doses of cannabis derivatives, dispenser bags, 5 precision scales, 2 brass knuckles, 4 large daggers. and 7,000 euros in cash.
The detainees were charged with a criminal organization and another crime against public health for drug trafficking, and the premises were closed by court order. The detained and seized things were handed over to the Investigative Court No. 2 of Torrevieja, the judicial authority issued a decision on their release with the introduction of precautionary measures for all of them.
It should be noted that the investigation continued until, a few weeks later, the Torrevieja court informed the Civil Guard of the appearance of the other 4 related parties in court.
