Torrevieja, like many Spanish cities, is actively preparing for Halloween, and this year residents and visitors to the city will be treated to a variety of festive events. Responding to demand from locals and tourists, the city offers a variety of entertainment: costume parades, quests, parties for adults and children, themed events in parks, as well as special programs in restaurants and bars.

1. Festive parades and shows

Traditionally, Torrevieja will host a Halloween parade, in which everyone can take part. Locals and tourists dress up as witches, zombies, ghosts and other characters to demonstrate their creative ideas. The parade is accompanied by a show and music, and ends with a colorful performance in one of the central squares of the city. This event is a great way to spend an evening in a festive atmosphere, especially for families with children.

2. Children's activities

For children in Torrevieja, there are workshops, competitions for the best costume, and a "haunted house" where children can test their courage and have fun. This year, events for children will be held in the Aromatica Park and in some of the city's shopping centers, where special photo zones will be installed. For younger guests, there will be sweets, face painting, and free entertainment, such as theatrical performances and competitions on the Halloween theme.

3. Parties and nightlife for adults

Torrevieja's bars and clubs host Halloween parties every year, and 2024 will be no exception. Local establishments are decorated in the style of the "scary" holiday, inviting visitors in costumes and ready to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of mysticism. At many parties, there will be competitions for the best costume, prizes will be raffled off, and DJs and bands will perform with live music. The most popular clubs, such as Velvet and Kultura, invite everyone to theme parties that will last until the morning.

4. Halloween quests and horrors

For those looking for more active and exciting events, Torrevieja organizes night quests and horrors around the city. These can be quests that include finding keys, solving puzzles and surviving in a "battle" with zombies and other monsters. Such quests are often held in abandoned buildings or parks, creating an atmosphere of real horror. Participation is usually paid, and it is recommended to book places in advance.

5. Special offers from restaurants and cafes

During Halloween, cafes and restaurants in Torrevieja offer themed dishes and drinks inspired by the "scary" holiday. In many establishments you can try "Vampire Blood" cocktails, skull-shaped cakes, pumpkin soups and other original dishes. Some restaurants also organize dinners with a show program, where artists in costumes perform.

How to prepare and not miss the events?

It is advisable to check the event programs in advance, as many require prior registration. Also, if you plan to participate in costume contests or quests, think about a costume that will attract attention and create a festive atmosphere.
