According to the head of the Association of Leading Real Estate Agents in Spain (LPA), Jose Carlos Leon, the coast has become popular with buyers from countries bordering troubled regions.

The expert mentions military conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip and clarifies that in recent years wealthy families from Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Hungary have flocked to the Costa del Sol.

According to him, the typical buyer is a 40-year-old entrepreneur who arranges a comfortable and safe life for his family on the Costa del Sol, and periodically flies home on business. He is usually looking for a spacious three-bedroom property in the region of €1 million.
