Alvise Pérez: The Ultra Agitator who Aspires to the European Parliament
Luis Pérez Fernández, better known as Alvise Pérez, is a Spanish political analyst and consultant. He has worked as a parliamentary advisor and chief of staff in the Valencian Parliament for the Ciudadanos party. His activity is mainly focused on the dissemination of controversial content through the Internet, especially on X (formerly Twitter) and Telegram.
Currently, Alvise Pérez is running for the 2024 European Parliament elections as the head of the list of the "Se Acabó La Fiesta" group of voters. The pre-electoral survey of the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) for the European elections of June 9 gave a seat to this platform.
About Alvise Pérez
Luis Pérez, born in Seville in 1990, is a well-known far-right YouTuber. This Andalusian communicator gained notoriety for promoting demonstrations in front of the socialist headquarters of Ferraz and for spreading information against progressive politicians and journalists through social networks, especially his Telegram channel. According to the CIS, Alvise Pérez's 'The party is over' could get one or two deputies, with a vote estimate between 2.9% and 3.8%.
The 'Party's Over' Match
The formation, which is defined as "squirrels and sympathizers”, will be presented to these European elections after achieving the endorsement of more than 15,000 signatures. Led by Alvise Pérez, known for spreading hoaxes in cases such as those of Ábalos, Illa, Carmena and journalist Ana Pastor, the platform aspires to "eliminate the political, media and judicial mafia." Alvise, Toni Cantó's former chief of staff, intends to enter the European Parliament to achieve judicial immunity, given his extensive history of complaints and pending legal cases. His movement will compete with Vox in these elections.
The Candidacy 'The Party Is Over'
The name of Alvise's candidacy, 'The party is over', has captured attention in Spain by achieving a position in the polls of voting intention for the European elections, which give him at least one deputy in the Strasbourg Parliament.
"I decided to start a political party because the alternative was to move to a mountain. The rotten society in the big European cities does not encourage you to anything else," explained Alvise Pérez to 'Euronews'.
The candidate is inspired by other candidates of 'outsiders' of politics, such as Javier Milei in Argentina and Nayib Bukele in El Salvador, who have succeeded in their respective countries with the promise of demolishing the system from the outside.
"Corruption has many legs: political, media and judicial. There is an open war against everything that has made this system no longer for Spaniards, but for a corrupt elite," says Pérez.
Alvise Pérez and his platform "The Party Is Over" seek to challenge the political status quo and achieve a radical change from the European Parliament.
