Beware of robberies on the AP-7 road in Catalonia
The Catalan Traffic Authority warns drivers about the potential danger on the section of the AP-7 motorway between the French border and Barcelona. Criminals are active in this area, who use various tactics to steal valuables from cars. They often try to force drivers to stop on the road using tricks such as staging accidents or other abnormal situations. It is also not uncommon for thefts to occur at gas stations.
Drivers are advised to be careful, avoid stops in unreliable places and not succumb to provocations. If there are suspicions or unusual situations, do not get out of the car and contact the local emergency services.
